Thread: The Ring 1 and 2

ring 1 - i read the manga first, so i thought the girl in the closet was going to be a lot scarier, but other than that i didn't think it would be scary. and, bcuz the girl in the closet wasn't scary, nothing in the movie was scary to me at all
ring 2 - luckily there were only like 3 other ppl in the theater when i went to see this, or else they would have been totally annoyed with me cuz i laughed through almost the entire movie.
ringu - after hearing it was scarier than the ring, i wanted to see it. i rented it, and was bored out of my mind.

another movie i have to complain about not being scary was the grudge. i heard it was scary, but instead i ended up laughing through most of it. so i also rented ju-on, and it wasn't scary either it, but it was at least a little more interesting (even though it was almost exactly the same...)

They were both pointless and not scary at all. Did The Grudge have anything to do with The Ring?

i agree, the ring is kinda boring and not scary... it looks cool in places like when she comes outta the Tv but other than that.... pretty poo.

no, the grudge was a different movie entirely. the only thing they have in common (i think) is that they r japanese movies remade by america

I have both of them. They are crap. The only reason I have them is because it scares some girls and the movie can be very enjoyable.

Hmm... The movie was a bit interesting in its odd sort of way but all in all, I agree with you guys. It wasn't all that scary at all. If you ask me, the media simply made it sound scary to attract people to watch it.
