I have a silly question but it could be serious. If someone was a racist against robots, what would it be called and/or why would it happen (racism on robots)?

I dunno, I think they'de be called a "nature fanatic" lol![]()
cause robots aren't made from nature if you know what I mean, other than that, I dunno, would robots be considered a race in the future? we can only wait, but until then, I wouldn't know what to call people against robots.
When I first saw this thread I laughed. But after thinking about it and seeing what Dreadhawk wrote, they would have to be a race in order for someone to be racist towards them. But hating a robot is almost like hating your computer.
Is it really a topic at all?Originally Posted by LenMiyata

Thanks for the siggy Ky-lyrra
The dictionary defines racism as "hatred or disdain towards a person of a different race or nationality"... yeah, keyword - 'person' ... I would call hatred towards AI or robots to be anti-mech or something along those lines.
Well, when we get to the point where AI becomes self-aware, they are going to defelope their own personalities and feelings, so how much diferent would they be from a person besides being constructed by different means? Would it be racism then?
