For me, the saddest death has to be Kenshin's death in the Seisohen OVA. :( I cried buckets everytime I watched that. It was like he lived only to protect the ones he loved and to repent for his sins. In the end, he died with the cross scar faded away from his face. And you can see how happy Kaoru is for him. :'( !!!

The saddest death for me was that of vegeta, esspecially his last words: If there is a god, i thank him to let me see frieza killed by a saiyan.

Grave of the Fireflies... every death in that anime was sad.

Wolfwood's passing. It just seems to never loose it's effect on me while watching it, the first time hit me the hardest though because due to events in my life at the time i thought i was reaching the end of my rope, if you catch my drift. So yeah, that one sticks with me the most..
Everyone's death in Wolf's Rain on the last couple episodes made me cry so much, I had to replace the tissue box. I had to tape the last episode for my sis to watch later, and I watched her face as she saw them all die. It was so sad! Why'd Toboe hafta die?
