I've been hearing rumors the past two weeks that there will be a second season of Samurai Champloo airing in January. A total surprise for me, cause a while back Tsurara posted (at the old AO :D ) that the series was dropped because of low ratings and such...
Don't know how you guys think about it, but I kinda liked the series and ep 17 indeed leaves enough room for a second season. So..., any opinions... anyone?

sweet, there's a second season. I'm so happy.
The first season wasn't as good as I hoped it would be, it could've been so much beter. I still enjoyed it and hopefully the second season would satisfy my ridicoulsly high expectations.
As far as I know, and from what I've seen at the official website, ep 17 is the last ep. Although I've also heard rumors that ep 17 was the last one to be aired on tv, and that the rest 18-26 would come out on dvd only... Not sure if this is true though...Quote:
