The Last Samurai is a great film indeed. One of the best ive seen in years, i still kinda get fired up when it reaches the typical hollywood ending. But still, its a minor gripe. As for other samurai films....the seven samurai baby!
Whats everyones favorite samurai movie (or movie with sword fighting), or one that you have seen lately and why? I have recently watched The Last Samurai again; I would probably say it is my favorite because it is a good movie and it tells a great story.

the last samurai was good.. but i remember seeing this black and white movie a long time ago about these 3 different samurai who all managed by the end to somehow get together and fight against the shogun or something... i dont remember name but it was good.
The end is important in all things.
Zatoichi: The Blind Samurai. Tom Cruise couldn't even beat that guy.

The 47 Ronin is my choice.
Last Samurai is good indeed, remembered watching it a few times. But cannot beat my fav, Seven Samurai!! hehehe
