!!!!!! Ssss Hhhhh Oooo Gggg Uuuu Nnnn !!!!!!
much love to socketto...what of this mongrel architect, our broken armor soon will set, past, present, and future tense...
I liked Hero and Couching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
My favorite is Ten to Chi to/Heaven and Earth (1990). It's my favorite samurai film since it deals with Nagao Kagatora/Uesugi Kenshin, my favorite historical character - and I thought the battle scenes were remarkable too.
...of course, I've only seen the 104 minute version...I can't find the 215 minute version anywhere. The 104 minute version took me forever to find as it is, since only VHS rental-copies were made - I had to buy one used from a going out of business rental place. Finding the 215 minute version (I can't even find Japanese copies) is big on my wish list.

Ugh, you can never seem to think of them when the time is right.
