Saw isn't really a horror movie. More of a suspense Thriller.
Well, there's a thread for each movie already, so I decided to just cut straight to the point: Which do you think is better?
I saw both and I say saw was scarier than the grudge. The grudge was more fun to watch though. I'd have to say that I enjoyed the grudge a little more. They were both great movies.

The end is important in all things.

I think the grudge was just like the ring except different.

In terms of scaring the shit out of you, and not liking dark places: Grudge.
Kinda like how Jaws made you not want to go into the water.
What makes Saw good, like seven. Is you would never guess what the end will be unless:
A: You've seen it.
B: You let some idiot spoil the movie for you.
That's what makes good suspense thrillers great...they keep you guessing.
BUt they're still 2 diffrent types of genres. If you break them down into more elaborate catagory.
lol So let me guess, now you want to stay out of Japan?
pssh. TYheres alot more scarier things than that in japan. If i'm staying out of japan it's because of the public urination they tend to do.
