of course, that's why they're serial killers. but i don't think that blaming on society is the answer. if society as a whole was supposed to be what's wrong, then wouldn't a majority of the people be affected by it instead of just a few serial killers?

I wasn't blameing the society, but it has a huge factor when it comes to why somone is insane for various reasons (if you read my first post). maybe society is wrong word to use, but read my first post to understand what I mean.

and about the killing in "crime of passion", I wasn't refering to serial killers, I meant normal person that commits one single murder.

I dont prescribe to the environment/nurture theory. I believe serial killers were born that way with something wrong with there brain chemistry. So there the sole reason for there actions. Theres millions of ppl in the same horriable situations that you described that dont turn into killers.

no cause most people can take the presure of society but for the ones who cant snap under the presure and to releave it find an alturnitive and for most in that sittuation find killing releaves that stress but at the same time find them selves with more stress to begine with or some thing like that my teacher told me that cant really remember word for word what he said

*yes but there are whacked out killers who just love the sight of blood, there are killers who kill for a living such as asassins and there are the people who have disorders like MPD (multiple personality disorder) and don't realize that they kill because technically it wasn't them.
