It's been said plenty of times before that tolerance should be taught at home. Parents should give children general (unbiased) summarys of certain religions; but only if the child is curious.
Also, if you are REALLY eager to learn so much about religion; why not wait until college. There are plenty of colleges that study and teach Theology. I know, because one of my closest friends went to school for Theology, and has a father with the same major.
Sure, it's great to understand one another and all. But religion should be kept in the church/temple/mousqe (whatever.), and the facts should be kept in schools.
