Thread: Shounen ai and Yaoi

i like both.

but i can't believe that kids can buy some of these titles so easily when they can get really really sexual. and considering how prude mothers can get...but i supposed to the unknowning mother, a cartoon is just a cartoon. boo.

I'm a guy, and straight, so yaoi isn't my thing. I'm not adverse to looking at yuri though, so I understand why females like it. What I do have a problem with is with shows like Gundam Wing and Gundam SEED where people make up yaoi couples that don't exist. That just really really annoys me. Just because two guys are good friends in an anime doesn't make them romantically involved. I don't assume that about girls in shows that I watch so it'd be nice if the shounen ai fans would respect the male characters in the same way.

-sigh- It's okay. Not exactly my thing, but that doesn't mean that I hate it. I don't have a shounen ai title that I prefer, though. I just have the titles shoved in front of me by my shounen ai-obsessed friends... Urk.

Anyway,
I'm a huge shounen-ai fan, (as if no one all ready knew that) and as for Yaoi *well, let's just say I'm very very new to it*
But I'm not really one of those fangirls who like the "fan-matchs" so to speak. All the couples I like all ready exist in the series they belong in.

So yeah..... go Shounen-ai *rar rar rar*
I like shoujo-ai too if it makes you guys feel any better
