Thread: A Slice of Life

Kweh, it's a poem:

A Slice of Life - by Derek Edmonds

My day began in the early morning
I got dressed and lvl'd on Porings
I waited and waited, but you weren't in sight
I sulked around while it became light

Later was awkward, I knew not what to do
And, apparently, neither did you
Lunch was disastrous, so I sat outside
So cold and alone, I nearly cried

It got still later, and I saw you not
With feelings of melancholy my mind was fraught
But an odd thing happened that brightened my day
I just had to hug you, to make things seem okay

So here I sit, reflecting on this
Today was a mishap, certainly not filled with bliss
But, although I can't help things being so rough
Please know that I love you, and let that be enough
