Thread: Some things i need answered

Hi guys 'n' girls.
I need help.
Im doing this project at school about America and the election to come.

I need some things explained and i figured. Who better to ask than americans themselves..
I know you aren't all americans... but there should be one or 2 in here that knows alot about this...

Anyways... if you have the time, patience and free will to explain.
Please do as it would be a great source for me.

How does the congress work?
(Legislative, executive, can't remember the 3th.
They say that each have individuel power.. and no department is stronger than the other.)

Does bush and or kerry have any men working in the congress in any of the 3 departments?

How does the election system work?
(Im having trouble understanding the primary vote...
And how you become a president kandidate).

Are there any specific rules regarding becoming a president?

You know of any groups that finance Bush and Kerrys' campaigns.
( I know the Carlyle Group helps bush... But does he have more men behind him. And any bigshots financing Kerry)


If you can answer one or more of these questions..
By all means please do as it goes for a greater cause.
I am also interested in knowing more about the US system.
I don't wanna have a biased opinion on something i know nothing about..
