GAZETTE = Indies/Visual-Kei Japanese Rock band. (Person on my avatar's the lead singer.)

2.Glay - Gothic Romance
3.Stabbing Westwards - on your way down
4.system of a down - chop suey ( when angels deserve to die, best track ever)
5.Faye Wonge - Eyes on me

I find that the early Gothenburg sound and doom genres work incredibly well if you're looking for something bleak, melancholic, and terribly grim.

Nine Inch Nails- Something I Can Never Have
I remember the first time I hear this song, I started crying. It's so beuctiful with just the piano, and you can tell that Trent Reznor is really baring his soul. A very unusual track for NIN, but one of their best.
