songs of sorrow.. Gazette pretty much covers it all.

GAZETTE = Indies/Visual-Kei Japanese Rock band. (Person on my avatar's the lead singer.)

4.system of a down - chop suey ( when angels deserve to die, best track ever)

I find that the early Gothenburg sound and doom genres work incredibly well if you're looking for something bleak, melancholic, and terribly grim.
