Thread: Sony got NAILED!

ok, get back on topic here, basically this happened last year, it didn't put a dent into sony's profits it only affected their stock price on the market or the profits for that quarter, besides most of those games you can find on shelves still and they are mostly used so you get a good deal.

The PS3 will more than likely happen like the PS2 did. You can still play the earlier console games on it, but you CAN'T save them on to a memory card. You can only save the specific PS3 games onto its card, so i'm pretty much disagreeing. Buying the PS2 games and saving them to play on a PS3 would be highly unlikely. After all, if you've already got all the PS2 games... They should be pretty useless on the PS3

that's nothing to sony...they made millions on revenues per month excluding expenses, man.
they have huge...reaallly huge assets.

Rephrase:
Sony makes you spend money on their games by not letting you save the data on the higher console. Which means it's useless to go and start buying games for the PS2 just to get a good deal to play on the PS3.

I don't get this.... do you mean that you can't play PLaystation 2 games on the PS3? Or do you mean you can't save PS2 on PS3 console? Someone explain please? I was planing on getting PS3, but I'm a bit confused here.

You can play PS2 games on the PS3, BUT you can't save them. Just like the PS2 plays PS1 games, But can't save them.
