    Soundtracks, who needs em.

When Raven made that thread concerning the XBOX 360 feature that'll allow you to make your own sountracks, i realized that this is something i've been doing for years (without an XBOX of course) and i was wondering if anybody else has done this from time to time? For instance, back in the day i would be playing M.D.K while listening to Gravity Kills albums, Metal Gear Solid while listening to Massive Attack, Tekken 3 to Prodigy ect. So, anybody create their own auditory sculpture while playing a game?

And I thought I was the only one who did that! (^_^) I always listen to my own jams while playing particular games. Such as .... Listening to Rammstein while playing Resident Evil ... *sigh* Good times. I usually listened to Hatebreed or KMFDM while playing Tekken 3. But Prodigy is just as fantastic.

I have, but only when I play a game arcade style or certain games tha don't benefit from their soundtrack.
e.g. I would never play an RPG without it's soundtrack.

I really liked listening to Marilyn Manson while playing Biohazard 3 mercenaries mode or just a fun playthrough with the minigun/rocket launcher.

I'm with you on leaving RPG's alone, i mainly whip up my own soundtracks with arcade style gameplay too. Like recently i've been playing alot of SSX while listening to Invisibl Skratch Piklz. Also, i've been listening to more Orange 9mm while playing Burnout 3. These seem to go hand in hand.

the best is playing Metal Gear Solid to Queen...
