Classic. A film that knocked me out with it's twist in such a severe way that I'll never forget....and the fact that i was about 9 when i first saw it probably scared me ever more so..

I remember when it was first showing in theaters... I was disapointed that the movie was no where close to the original novel it was based on (Make Room!, Make Room! by Harry Harrison). The Science Fiction novel had a much better story...

Anyway, Soylent Green was a fairly entertaining film, one of the better that Chuck Heston made in his Disaster/Sci-Fi phase of the 60's and 70's. Better than Soylent Green though is The Omega Man.![]()
