I read once about a consultent who sucessfully sued some spammers for consulting fee's for reading their spam. He asked them to stop sending him spam and when they didn't he informed them he would be charging them $.25 each e-mail for reading it. He kept meticulous records and sent them a bill. When they didn't pay he took them to court and won. The sad thing is they sent him so much spam that by the time the court case was over they owed him thousands, $.25 at a time.

Loudoun County is where AOL is based? Or is that just one of the locations out of many? I'd never have thought hicksville would have servers for aol... it's all farms there. Or at least that's what we think of Loudoun as. I have a friend whose dad owns a dial-up service there.. haha that's off topic.
Seems interesting though. Leesburg is about 30 minutes from where I live.. I'm glad VA has those strict laws on internet spamming. Screw constitutionality, spammers should die.
<-- gets apx 30 spam emails a day
