Thread: Spawn manga

I would assume that if it's just coming out in English that it's about how Spawn came to be and following him from then on. Simple answer, but it's gotta start from the beginning.
Also, I don't know if this is being picky, but wouldn't that be a comic book as opposed to manga? Or are those the same thing, 'cause uh, I guess I can see the similarities, but manga consists of books, with chapters and such. Comic books, not so much.

It wasnt really released in comic in a book style, it was released in 200 page manga, the cover i posted is from the french version of the manga.

mmm....not really doing much for me, i think i'll just stick to the original.

I found that page in spanish, witch you suggest that this manga was already released in a spanish speaking country, but if the spanish version of the spawn manga was already out on this side of the world, i would have known .

Why a manga? Wasn't the original good enough? Pfft... I'll stick to the old stuff, thanks.

I havent really read this manga, but apparently its more of a reinterpretation of the Spawn character, it's an independent story that doesnt take place in the Spawn comics or the animated series.
I looked around a little and found the english covers for the first 2 vols of the manga(there's a total of 3 vols), right now it has a probable released date for November 9 of this year.
