I agree, but for the obsessive compulsives who have to have the best and newest toy (shamed to say like me) it's like candy. I hardly buy SE games and would only buy them if I dont have the original. Like I bought Devil May Cry 3 SE a few weeks ago and its much better than the original third one cause you can play as Vergil.
Most deffinently, that game is awesome, Vergil is so much more deadly than Dante, but hey, good triumphs over evil.

Europe had to wait until March 2005 to get MGs3.
We did get some extras though, European Extreme difficulty, some extra face paint, movie theatre, capture the monkey extras,...
BUT
With Subsistence coming out, we Europeans will have to wait a longer time again and the extras we get now aren't that great because we already have most of them.
On the other hand, MGS is a bad example because they really put some work into their SE releases (as opposed to crap like CoD and King Kong SE).
Another good one will be Midnight Club 3 remix. Only $20 and many new extras.
