I've been trying to take some screen shots of a few movies I'm useing winamp, I've try'd print screen>>>>>paint>>>>paste>>>>save but all I get is a black screen I've try'd haveing it full screen alt+tabing in to paint and saveing but that doesn't seem to work anyone know a way to take screens form winamp or media player I'm asking because my friend said to get screen shots and send them to him so he can make my stuff for a con that we've pland on going to......

I just play the DVD, pause, and then I believe right-click and there should be a selection "capture image"... If you don't have that selection, I honestly don't know what to tell you. WMP is what I use though, by the by.
It's how I captured the image used in the sig... Though Trunks did everything after the image capture

You need to use a different program.
What is happening is you are trying to screen capture a video overlay and as you found it doesn't work.
You need to use "virtual dub mod". You can find it at www.sourceforge.net

The other thing you can try is to go into the properties of your DVD player codec and TURN OFF HARDWARE ACCELERATION. With hardware acceleration turned on, the video image never leaves your video card memory, and the black screen your capturing is just the 'blank' overlay space that Windows reserves for the video card to place it's image in...
I can't seem to find the software so how do I do what LenMiyata said to try?

Try pressing the print screen button on the keyboard. And then, go to paint or word and click paste. This should most likely work. Hope it works
