In fact I'm so cheerful it starts to hurt a little, you know, that aching feeling you get when someone rams a long thin, splintered wooden stake in your eye socket.
Just deep enough to hurt but not deep enough to kill, cutting through those small arteries...

I can honestly say, experiencing something utterly blissful like that will make you dance and sing all night long
Who knows, maybe you'll ask for seconds later...
