So your saying that movies like "Prince of Egypt", "Mulan", "Aladdin", "Road to Eldarado", "Titan A.E", and many others lack detail? I'm sorry to say, but a lot of the movies I mentioned are a more detailed/story driven then most anime series are. Also, animation studios are not a high priority in many companies eyes, good excample would be Nick, therefor a lot of features are limated.( This is not the case with CN, seeing as their main concern is animation) Which is why, half the time, the movies are usally better quality.While not all Japanese cartoons are, most U.S. seem to fall short of adequate detail, much less high detail.
