Tenchi muyo Ryo ohki (a bit confused)

I just got the first volume of the new sequal to the Tenchi muyo series its looks great but there is one thing that has been bugging me.

Is Tenchi's sister a child of his mother and his father or is she just his half sister?
Because if she is his full sister which is 80 years old then his father would be over a 100 years old and he is a normal earth human meaning he should look like an old geezer but instead looks like he is in his 40s whats up with that?

Moving to the Spoiler section so that people can respond...

Keep in mind that people of Jurai descent (especially if their bound to a Royal tree) have extremely long life spans. As was shown, Katsuhito's/Yosho's old age appearence is just a disguise... And Tenchi has Jurai blood inheirted from both sides of his family. This is somewhat explain in the 2nd Tenchi Muyo OVA (which the new series is a direct sequal of...) and in the Tenchi Muyo GXP spinoff (who's events occurs two years after the events of the 3rd OVA series...

Tenchi Muyo always confusing at first but it explain everything at the end

....Ryoko and Tenchi is my favourite characters
