Thread: Terry Fox Run

Wait... so this is just a run for a guy named Terry Fox? Curses! I thought this was for fox hunting or something... I like fox hunting! Well, I would... if I were involved in it.

well if you live in the U.S then most people dont.
Terry Fox had Cancer on his right leg at the age of 20 and had to get it cut off and replaced.
3 years later He had an Idea of running from coast to coast in order to raise money for cancer research.As he was getting closer and closer to ending his run,He could not finish his run, however, as the cancer spread to his lung and he was forced to abandon the course on September 1, 1980 just west of Thunder Bay, Ontario. He died several months afterwards at the age of 22, one month before his 23rd birthday.

...except for the fact that he died before he could finish...
