Terry Fox Run

So today my school did a Terry fox Run.This year was very special beacuse

We ran in the Gym since it was raining out.I got tramppled when a whole bunch of people came from behind me.And our gym is so small.
thoes of you who did Have Terry Fox Run and learned a whole bunch of stuff about him Im really hoping to hear it

Wait... so this is just a run for a guy named Terry Fox? Curses! I thought this was for fox hunting or something... I like fox hunting! Well, I would... if I were involved in it.

well if you live in the U.S then most people dont.
Terry Fox had Cancer on his right leg at the age of 20 and had to get it cut off and replaced.
3 years later He had an Idea of running from coast to coast in order to raise money for cancer research.As he was getting closer and closer to ending his run,He could not finish his run, however, as the cancer spread to his lung and he was forced to abandon the course on September 1, 1980 just west of Thunder Bay, Ontario. He died several months afterwards at the age of 22, one month before his 23rd birthday.

That's freaking awesome. I always wanted to do the Forest Gump run. But this guy is a real hero. I want to go run.
