Thread: Texhnolyze?

it's dark, violent, slow-paced sci-fi
not recommended for people that have A.D.D
it has some slow moments
it's sorta like GITS: Stand Alone Complex or s.e Lain except the main character rarely talks
it's weird and unique
and the artwork is sorta gothic
overall, a good anime

I've been thinking about getting it. Maybe I will.

I felt like I was watching an Art house movie, and not an anime at all.
The animation is very dark and trippy, and no one speaks a word for 15 minutes in the first episode, and the main character doesn't say a word until episode 3.
It's not recommend if your impatient and don't like alot of silence in anime, but if your patient, like anime that's different, eerie and really forces you to use you brain, I recommend it.

I didn't really connect with it much, but when I lent the first DVD to my friend she loved it.
Not for everyone, but it is interesting and different. I decided to wait for the boxset instead of buying the rest of the series. I'm sure I'll start enjoying it more once I watch past episode 4.
