some people might not know if the colour they chose is hard to see or not...I.E. me because ive started posting in various colours, so could you give us a list of the banned colours?
I've noticed that a lot of you have been using horribly annoying text color in your posts. Some colors are extremely hard to read on any layout and using them is discourteous to your fellow forum members. I'm just going to state for the record that if you continue to use these colors, disreguarding everyone else, the feature will be removed. In fact, if the feature is removed because of you we will make sure everyone knows that it was your fault. So do everyone a favor, if you have to use colored text use something that can be easily read. I think from this point on, if I can't read it, i'm deleting it. Like I said, if that has to be done too many times the ability to use text color will be removed.

Red and Green for starters. Purple is borderline. Basically the dark colors don't show up very well. If you want to see how it looks, open the advanced mode of the reply and do a "Preview" before you post it. That should give you an idea how it looks.
well...
that sucks for me...
I've been using red text for a long time now...
oh well...

one reason to post in a darker color (or speciffically hexidecimal color #556575) would be if you ae posting a spoiler on somehting....
in fact i would appreciate it if a tag pair was introduced to allow this feature to be more easily used........
output would be somehting simmilar to this:

Student: "Umm sensei, the question on the board is wrong."
Teacher "SHAAAADD UP!"
wouldn't it be easier to just get rid of the unwanted colors in stead of telling people not to use them? I mean... people are people... and they love to upset each other... when they see something telling them not to do it they do it anyway.

Well, let them do it anyway, one of two things can happen as a result:
1. If they are doing it just to piss people off they will probably be banned
2. Use of text color will be removed.
Oh and on the subject of the spoiler button, since we have a whole forum dedicated to spoilers there isn't really a need for one anymore.
