Hi all..
I know with internet slang, fast typing and a poor education systems some of us miss details of grammer. Nobody's perfect.
There are some cases though I keep noticing that should be addressed:
They're (They are....)
There (Used for describing location)
Their (Used for note ownership or belonging to a person)
Examples:
They're
Good: Why do you think they're making scary films?
Bad: Why don't you give them they're pizza?
There
Good: If you're looking for it, you'll find it over there.
Bad: There looking at me funny.
Their
Good: Did you show them their room?
Bad: Don't you think their funny?
I'm sure you get the point. I've noticed quite a few people constantly making these mistakes, especially with their use of 'there'. I felt that perhaps a quick review may clear things up for some people. I've made plenty of mistakes and by no means an english major (Which is part of the reason I didn't throw in dictionary terms and layouts like noun verb etc)
Thank for reading.
