well, you never said it HAD to be practial...
I am doing a business plan for my business class..im making a business plan for opening up an anime store but not only that....but im also going to be designing peoples belongings either from buying it from the store or bringing something in...its going to be a service and retail store and everything of the such....though i am having problems coming up a name for my business...then the idea of market research came up and so i decided that AO was the perfect place to do so...so what do u think? Do any of you have an idea on what to name my business? Ive tried myself....but i cant seem to find nething that jus....catches and sticks in your mind.......thank you very much for the help

There appears to be two ways to have a Business name... You can either have what your Business does as part of the name (Such as 'Anime Corner Market') which makes it easier to find with Internet search engines, (but harder to find one that's not already used...), or have a name completly unrelated to the type of Business, but linked to a store mascot or advertising Icon... (Such as 'Anime Rabbit Hole' and have a kawaii bunney for a store mascot...)
C'mon! Would you REALLY find an anime place called KKK? Mine's awesome!
I'd have to agree with Len on this one as long as it's an internet industry, but I didn't really get a clear call on this. Are you opening shop on line, or opening shop on the streets? I guess it really doesn't matter, but I'd stress that a name isn't the biggest of your worries. A name doesn't make the buisness, the business makes the name. Don't force it. It took months to figure out what I was going to call my story, and in the end it was right there in front of me. I just had to stop trying and let it come to me. The same was true for my bands.

How about 'Designime'? Add a cute anime style girl for a logo (not to sexy but cute enough to appeal to both guys and girls) holding or wearing one of your products. Walla.
