Wrong answer. High grounds is your best option with the fact that it has to be able to withstand the Tsunami's waves. If you were to hide in a basement or hole you would end up drowning.

But my house is on top a mountain I' live in the appalachin*misspelled* mountian's.... I live in virginia.
So the basement would still be ok.

Well, if your still at ground level you might as well say F*ck it and jump in. But yeah if your in a plane or helicopter you should be set.
