    Question un - graining images??

Hi.. im really new at this.. but have been playing around with photoshop for some time. with the photography aspect of it.. My problem is basicly wene you get scans.. they have this look of paper(grain/dots?).. i look at all your wonderfull backgrounds and dont see that.. i tried playing with a bunch of diffrent filters but none seam to do the trick. if anyone has any ideas or hints.. that would be wonderful.. thanks to all you guys who put all that effot into your background!

Duplicate the image 2 twice. On the first duplicate guassian blur. On the second overlay blend mode.

that will work if you have photoshop ^_~ Hope that helps. ^-^
