Nice one, being a adult is the worst thing that can happen.
The pain is still here,
and i'm over the shock.
death may follow me,
but now I've finally woken.
i don't need to feel loss.
now i know...
i don't need to pain.
i know why too,
but it's nothing,
but a belief.
now i know what to do,
my end will not come.
well i'll live,
as i've been told.
it's about time i grew up.
that's what i get,
for holding on to my youth.
now to BE the adult,
i should have been,
years ago.

YEA! Growing up sucks! I still wish i were a little kid! I hate being a teenager. I doubt I'll like being an adult. nice poem.

yeah, I agree. I dont understand why other PEOPLE like to grow up easily. They miss the fun of a teen... thats their problem anyway. Lol, nice poem there.

Don't be too hard on yourself. Being an adult has tons of new exciting 'adventures' to come! :] Your poem is very descriptive and your place your emotions finely.
