Unreal Engine 3.0
anyone here seen the E3 video for the unreal engine 3?
it rocked...alot...the "cannon fodder" creatures still have 100000+ polys
yea i saw a video of that, it was pretty damn insane. my pc doesn't have the specs to run it though so seeing it on video might be the only joy ill ever get outta that game.
kinda like Doom 3.
The end is important in all things.
So basically another game that 5 percent of the gaming population can play since only 5 percent of the gaming population is either rich or poor but sadly still buys the most high tech gear on the market? Yeah I think that basically sums up my opinions, why not get something like HL2 and be happy with specs AND gameplay? (Yes I think I just dissed D3 gameplay)
Because by the time the first unreal game is made for the engine, most computers will be able to run it, at least at low detail. the unreal engine has always been very efficient. I could run UT2004 just fine on my old GeForce 2 MX. That and the engine only use 7-8 thousand polys for the in game model, they just use the normal map of a higher poly count model...an extremely good idea if i do say so myself...
Yeah it was cool, sadly my pc is not good at the moment very sad i need a graphics card.
