    Using WMM for AMV

Okay, I have Windows Movie Maker on my computer, and I know you can put together pictures to make the music video, but can you also put in a DVD and copy clips from it on WMM? That's the problem I'm having is wondering if I can put clips from movies or shows that I have on DVD onto the AMV.
Can anyone answer that question and help me with it?

    Thanks.

Yep... converting DVD files to mpg will probably work. That's what I didn when I wanted to use a clip from a DVD. However, when I did this, there was no audio in the mpg file, so you'll have to use another program to get the audio from the DVD.
    I download anime, watch anime,
download more anime, watch more anime,
and download anime soundtracks because I have no life.

Actually, you DON'T want to convert to mpg, but rather a loseless codec in the avi container (such as HuffYUV), which is much easier than converting to mpg. Or if you want to make it even easier, and save alot of time, with perfect quality, you can do AviSynth scripting (like myself).

Of course, mpg is fine if you don't mind recompression and horrible quality.
