Wars and ideals, not so easy to judge, if you look in history you will see most wars are the product of a leaders ideals, regarding justification. In the dictionary "Justify" means to provide a sufficient explanation.
The armenian genocide 1915 - 1917, 1.5m armenians were slaughtered by the turkish army, why ?. Conflict of ideals, Armenians wanted independence ,two progressive young turks replaced the sultans goverment, who produced the plan to eradicate the armenian race, turkey had the perfect cover becouse of WW1.
Cuban revolution, Fidel Castro like so many cubans fought there corrupt goverment and took the power back, Castro got the prostitutes of the streets and into schools, but to get the country out of poverty castro would have to take the bussiness`s back from america (cubas bussiness`s where sold buy the corrupt government and no money went back into cuba). To avoid conflict Castro personally went to america to see eisenhower to discuss trade, however eisenhower decide not to meet castro and vice president nixon took care of the meeting, nixon did not discuss anything, later nixon wrote a letter saying `we cant trust him, hes a communist', america then invoked a trade embargo, cuba was then forced to turn to russia, The CIA ordered commandos into cuba to destablelize castro`s power, the commandos burnt malls, schools and murdered teachers, This failed, JFK now in charge was dissapointed with the attemps to remove castro. The CIA trained exiles to infiltrate and destablelize cuba, america`s part was to provide weopns training and to take out the cuban air force... America failed and the remains of the airforce attacked the supply vesssels. The exiles were stranded on the beach surrrounded by cuba`s army, the exiles asked america to pick them up, america refused a pickup apparently it was a presidential order, JFK later refused this and said the CIA set him up. The incident became known as `the bay of pigs'. Cuba was forced in to a harder position, cuba accepted long range nuclear weopons, then amrica reacted with threat and force. This became known as the `Cuban missile crisis'.
Regarding the recent Iraq war, for those who dont know, in 2001 colin powell said on tv that saddam hade made no attemp to rebuild there war machine and made no attemp to acquire/build weapons of mass destruction, wow 3 years is a short time for saddam to build/acquire WMD, despite the trade embargo enforced by america, not too mention the intelligence in place to monitor saddams activites.
Still no apology to the thousands of families who live with the knwoledge that there sons, daughters, fathers, mothers died in vain, knowing it wasnt saddam who killed them but there goverment. Pride and patriotism... knowing the true history of your country would you be so proud.

You know, your history on the gulf war is awfully interesting considering that the intellegance that Iraq was arming came from the UK. But then I understand the UK got it from France who got it from Spain. Isn't politics fun.

War is always going to happen, because humans have differences, when pushed far enough that people can't agree upon or something happens. War will break out. War is a natural occurance and will forever be apart of our universe.
