"Dances with Wolves" anyone? Does "The Postman" ring any bells?
I was just kidding. Although I do think that most the films he has acted in suck.

I agree, most of the movies he stars in suck, but its mostly cause of a lousy script or a hopeless idea of a movie.
The reason Waterworld tanked was mostly because of a trend that was starting at the time, real bad reviews for no reason whatsoever, and at that time most of the ppl that went to the movies relied on reviews. Now a days ppl depend more on word of mouth, than actual reviews. But at the time Waterworld came out the reviews simply killed the movie. Now the movie itself was really good, specially on the Special edition DVD, where the deleted scenes reveal some plotholes, the biggest one being the actual location of Dry-land.
Evil is actually in my job description

No, no. It earned those reviews. It is the only movie I know of where Barronmore was rooting for the bad guys by the end, (they appeared to have more morals). He's really sad the movie didn't end with Costner getting offed.

Hey if you like it, that's great. There are people who liked Battlefield Earth as well. It just doesn't change the fact they sucked.

An interesting fact though. At the time waterworld was made you could always spot a bad guy in the movie because they smoked (just guess who was paying for that). Now you can spot the hero's because they, smoke....cigars. Guess who's paying them now?

l Stone Hold l Now We're Cooking! l Thanks to Kaos for the awesome sig!

I couldn't watch that movie. My ADD wouldn't let me pay attention to it for more than 2 minutes. I never saw the whole thing so I don't know if it sucks or not.
