HUH?

What exactly do you mean when you say "know a good place to make your own website for free?"

Do you mean hosting (ie. free storage and access) or a place that will either build or instruct you on how to build one for free? Or both?

I guess you could always go with Yahoo's Geocities or Freewebs. Both have free hosting plans and tut'ed prefabricated models you can use--neither of which will rely on any coding knowledge. But be warned, nothing is really "free". You will have slow server responses, limited bandwidth and storage, limited file extentions, and advertizing plastered everywhere.

i don't really ynderstasnd...but i know where you can"make"your website if your asking that..

What i think is that, free hosting services are not that good, some poeple don't like the ads and stuff. You should ask people with domain to host you. If you think you can meet what the domian owners look in a hostees ask them. However, free hosting service like geocities are good places to start off if you just started. If you have experience with website designing, You should show your work here and ask for subdomain hosting. Right now, i'm open for hosting on both my domains. Aoumi.Net and Reikou.Org if you want show me some work. and i'll most likey host you :P

ultimatly, i think subdomain hosting allows you to use more codes, learn more. Thats how i started :P and now i have 2 domains.

use ebay.com buy a cheap hosting. It has everything you need for website. Free isn't good at all.
