I have seen Porco Rosso, The Cat Returns, Nausicaa, Princess Monokue, Kiki's Delivery Service, Castle in the Sky, Spirited Away, and My Neighbor Totoro.

of all those movies from miyazaki my favorite is definietly ~My Neighbor Totoro~ It just makes you feel so good and is a great film all around it makes you feel like a good person and everything in the world is ok.

I don't think miyazaki made Grave of the Fireflies but if he did then that would be my favorite

Grave of the Fireflies is my favorite movie ever better than any piece of cinema I ever saw

very depressing and sad and I guarantee you will cry watching this especially near the end

Whisper of the Heart is probably my favorite. Although i really dont like the whole cat returns thing. But the movie was great. Not to mention the main girl is adorable. But i dunno, i just really liked it.

I like Mononoke a lot because its more mature (in just about every aspect, even the art style) then their other works which are more or less kiddy-ish looking (i only said looking, im not talking about the actual movies, just how they are drawn, so dont tell me OMG THEY ARENT KIDDY MOVIES). Well other then Grave of the fireflies, that movie IS great, but i cant say its my favorite.

So my FAVORITE is probably whisper of the heart, then mononoke, then nausicaa, laputa, etc, etc.

And ive got tickets already to go to the first showing of Howl's Moving Castle out here in LA, along with seeing the special Hayao Miyazaki Art Exhibit they are gonna have there. Ah, cant wait! O:

Most of all I like Mononoke, Laputa, Totoro, Grave of fireflies, Spirited Away...

Tomorrow I'll buy Howl's Moving Castle, it must be great...

Do anybody know the new short movieseries of Ghibli, where they show the funny events of themselves?

Ha, ha, how true! This is the kind of anime that pepole don't talk about enough, especially when ingorant people think that all anime is DBZ, Pokemon, or porn.

I saw Howl's Moving Castle a couple of weeks ago and I must say that is my favorite SG release. It really seemed to catch Ghibli's child-like love of magic, without ignoring the consequences of playing with the "dark side". The character's are as likable as in any of SG's releases. I would recommend it to anyone.
