What do you do when you are depressed?

My thoughts exactly. You tell half the people who go on about being depressed to go seek professional help and they will make up some excuse as to why they can't. It's people like that who don't have anything wrong with them other than the fact they want a little sympathy attention. And if you throw in a little bit of suicide talk, well you got all your friends smothering you with love and caring words.

I mean it's ok to be depressed, but some people take it too far they just find reasons to be depressed and when they can't they make them up or create problems. And in all honesty I just can't see why someone would want to be depressed, you people make me sick. :nono:

i either go out with my friends and do somethign fun to get my mind off of it or listen to depressing music and constantly write poetry in my attempt to express my feelings...or both

well seince im writing a book im going to get published when im depressed i write it all out on paper. only i dont write about whats happeing in my life. i write more to my story.

I used to cut myself i admit, and my arm is covered in scars, but thankfully i managed to stop (harder than it sounds) now i use it to draw and write, somehow it always helps me whenever i've got writers block and i can improve the more dramatic bits. Though its good, the results aren't good enough to be depressed 24/7

well now i changed my ways and i pop in a samurai movie and watch teh bloodshed and murder and cry my eyes out when the love of his life dies by accident when he is in a battle!!! oh the sadness.....

When i am depressed, i think of all the things tht have givin me happiness, and imagine them close to me, and try to not be depressed anymore.

although sometimes, it doesnt work, because those happi thoughts... thoughts of people... make you miss them even more.

When I'm depressed, I usually play a Video Game (Usually Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy VI) or listen to some slow music...

I go out clubbing.....drinking, smoking, no illegal drugs...maybe a lil bit of pot smoking :2thumbs: but other than that.....just stupid things to get the depression out of my mind. It can drive you nuts........I use to do bodily harm to myself back when I was in high school........now that I have matured enough ( I think I'm mature...for a 25 yr old that is, hehe ) I stopped doing it and I just tried to do other stupid things.

And just like FallenAngel said.......watch porn and hentai, that should help you forget why u r depressed.......unless of course u r alone and watching porn or hentai will make u more depressed bcoz u know that u can't have sex.....hehehe! :lurk: :confused:
