Thread: What do you remember?

Well... yeah, I frequently listen to many of the listed bands.

Moody Blues and The Who in particular strike my fancy.
Pink Floyd and Bob Dylan are always solid choices as well, oh I've always had a thing for Cream as well.

Many a good album—or band—came from a time before I was born.

i still have the Eagles album...one of my fav. songs even to this day is Hotel California. As for some of the others, i do know them, just not as well as the Eagles. still prefer ZZ Top lol....kick band

Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence" is one of my favorite tracks.

The Who: Fantasic group. Magic bus is a fav track too

Styx: Well, they had a brief moment in the 90's when Cartman sang "Come sail away" which was written by them...

My dad use to play a lot of old stuff when I was growing up:

Def Lepord, Simon and Garfunkle, The Kinks, Hendrix, Dire Straits, and Tom Petty.

The list does go on.

Heart, Depeche Mode, and Paula Abdul is really old???!!!

Man, talk about making someone feel their age.

Know them? I own at least one album by each of them with the exception of Paula Abdul and Paper Lace. Paula Abdul isn't that old for Pete's sake. Heck I've seen Moody Blues, The Who (post Keith Moon), Heart, Depeche Mode, and Styx in concert. I don't consider any of them to be old.

I still listen to Pink Floyd and Queen who are the best bands of all time, well I think anyway!!!!!! But my parents have almost a wall full of CD's from back in their day so there is a lot of old music to listen too there.
