Thread: What form of government would you have!

If the people in any country had a choice to chose the type of government what would you choose! Personally i believe that the country should have representatives of course but i want a government that is actually run by the people of that country not just vote for someone! I know that in this there would probably be a lot of confusion and pandemonium but i'm more interested in finding out what everyone else thinks!

I would like to know just how you would have the people running thing?
How would the representitives factor in?
What would their responsibilities be?
Who would propose the bills?
Who would vote on them?
What kind of Executive branch (President? Prime Minister? King?) would you have? And what about the courts?
Who would pick the judges and more importantly, how would you remove them?

Absolute Monarchy. Dictatorship. That's my kind of rule. It's sounds horrible, but come on, if I were high up enough in society that I had the potential to be one, which one of you truthfully wouldn't seize the opportunity?

I would have to support one of the various forms of fascism. Democracy was a good idea from the start, but with wide demographs and dispersed peoples, it's too slow a process in the modern era. Government should be centralized, all power in the hands of a few or one. Democracy is inefficient in dealing with swaying national interests, not to mention the pains of constantly changing leaderships, policies are in place for four years, then the opposing political party goes into office and turns things around. How is progress to be made? With the power of one.

Hmm, maybe it won't be so one sided after all...
