That's a good question. I highly doubt web browsing though.
...I haven't heard any of the recent developments in the PSP!
What is in store for the Playstation Portable?
-Web Browsing perhaps?
-Video Camera?
-Higher MP3 Capacity?
- Online Gaming (NON - adhoc , more internet based)
Speaking of which, I heard there was a program enabling this, in which you use the PSP to connect wirelessly to your computer. By installing the program, called XBC, you can then somehow play via computer connecting to wireless internet.
I never got this to work, but supposedly it works for XBOX and PSP.
Can anyone provide info? I have a PSP and I am curious!!! ^^;;

That's a good question. I highly doubt web browsing though.
WEb browsing is somewhat possible already...
...but only if you 'hack the PSP'. Using the game Wipeout Pure, you can access basic web browsing features.
VERY BASIC. So basic, from what I have heard you have to save the 'favorites,' and then browse them on the PSP, so it's almost not like browsing, just viewing.
For further information here is an additional link on how to hack the PSP to access basic web browsing ~ PSP HACK

Okay hearing that made me change my mind a little but is anyone really gonna put web browsing on a handheld game console? I mean they might as well make a mp3 player with internet, know what I mean?
Grumble Grumble Grumble
Too late, Sony already added a Internet Web Browser functionality to the PSP with the 2.00 UpdateOriginally Posted by SamuraiDude128

the psp's capacity of holding mp3's is limited to how big the memory stick is. currently, there's 2gig ms pro duo sticks available, and the ms pro duo supposedly maxes out at 4gigs.
you don't need wipeout pure to get web browsing as there are homebrew versions as well as the mentioned official 2.00 firmware update provided by sony.
i believe sony will be experimenting on how to make psp and ps3 work together like how the gc and gba is. purely speculative on my part, but it seems like a logical step.
you can play online with other players on the net with xlink.
HOLY CRAP. I haven't used my PSP in ages! I need to check up on this stuff! That's actually good to know, wow! I never got the FIRST SONY Network update to work though...
I'm such a p00n < ___ >;;
yeah, I haven't heard anything about PSP lately. Or sony for that matter. It's a little slow right now. Everyone's still making fun of the revoultion.
