![]() ![]() Credits: -150 | What is the Future of the PSP? ...I haven't heard any of the recent developments in the PSP! What is in store for the Playstation Portable? -Web Browsing perhaps? -Video Camera? -Higher MP3 Capacity? - Online Gaming (NON - adhoc , more internet based) Speaking of which, I heard there was a program enabling this, in which you use the PSP to connect wirelessly to your computer. By installing the program, called XBC, you can then somehow play via computer connecting to wireless internet. I never got this to work, but supposedly it works for XBOX and PSP. Can anyone provide info? I have a PSP and I am curious!!! ^^;; Last edited by tasukuchan; Sep 23, 2005 at 01:37 PM. |

![]() ![]() Credits: -150 | Re: What is the Future of the PSP? WEb browsing is somewhat possible already... ...but only if you 'hack the PSP'. Using the game Wipeout Pure, you can access basic web browsing features. VERY BASIC. So basic, from what I have heard you have to save the 'favorites,' and then browse them on the PSP, so it's almost not like browsing, just viewing. For further information here is an additional link on how to hack the PSP to access basic web browsing ~ PSP HACK Last edited by tasukuchan; Sep 23, 2005 at 01:51 PM. |

Whoa. | Re: What is the Future of the PSP? yeah, I haven't heard anything about PSP lately. Or sony for that matter. It's a little slow right now. Everyone's still making fun of the revoultion.

| AO Member | Re: What is the Future of the PSP? there's nothing major for sony to report anyways since most of the innovative applications that come out from it are homebrew'ed and not supported by sony. sony doesn't want you to be able to do anything on your psp other than what it's supposed to do since it is afterall out of their warranty scope. there's LOTS of goodies for the psp, you just have to google for it. |
