I use 1280 x 1024 for most stuff. Although I do drop down to 1024x768 if what I'm doing appears teeny-tiny on the screen. Stupid bad vision...

1152 x 864. The reason I use it is because 1024 x 768 was not big enough. I had to scroll a lot when using it.

hey, don't knock 1024x768. I might not be happy that i can't get any better on my laptop but i probably wouldn't use a higher resolution if i could get it

At home: 1280x1024, laptop: 1024x768. I gotta say, with these eyes, the laptop text, etc. is a lot easier to read. The home resolution (monitor dictated) feels like overkill; and I've actually had to use the "text size -> Larger" in IE for some webpages! Streaming video is really small, too. Personally, I'd like to see webpages use 800x600 as default; a resized IE window makes me scroll AO to the side, and I don't like fullscreen windows.
