Thread: what 'stereotype' are you?

I am done with high school. Thank goodness. But while I was there... i was labled by others as the punk, grunger, or goth. Later on ... In my junior and senior years, I was labeled as hippie, bohemian, and emo.

Mind you, those are other people's label's of me. I label myself only as a human being.

Hehe. I love stereotyping. You know why? Because we all are different, and have our own opinions! We're not the same person! Woohoo! It's fun to be different!

Yet, following a trend is pretty stupid. Then you no longer have your own opinion.

the most common stereotype that people refer to me as is; an emo and i'm not even a bloody emo no offense to any other emo's out there

I'm Asian so people assume that I'm super smart (I'm a ****in C student!)
I act mellow, I seem depressed, and I'm so quiet so people think that I'm emo and a loner
and because I'm so lazy and slow, people think I'm high all the time
c'mon! I'm an insomniac! I'm just super tired!
anyway, I wear black all the time so people also think I'm gothic
I don't really like labels
but "otaku" is the only one that I'll accept
not goth, not punk, not anything
I just really like anime

well, lets just say im not really part of a crowd. yes, i mostly hang out with punks but also have my preppy, geeky, goth friends. I dont like to be stereotyped because i where what ever appeals to me. so one day i would look extremely preppy and the next i would look extremely goth. since i dont where alot of pink and im into alot of board/surf companies now (i surf so im not a poser or anything) i would be considered by others to be a emo/punk chick.
