ok theoretical question here for you, your given lets say £200 (i'm sorry i don't know how much this is in american money or anything else) what aniem or manga would you buy with it, were from, why? i'm asking this
a) because i think it could be interesting and it kinda limits people to what they can say
and b) because i'm going into further education and if i get ema i'll finally have this kinda money in less than ten months.

Well it all depends on what you like, and on the length of the series you watch or amount of volumes in one serie. Per example I don't think that would be enough to buy the entire 3x3 Eyes manga serie (40 volumes). And what I would buy is the 11th volume of Aoi Yori Aoshi (who just got out here), and some other to continue what I'm reading.
As for buying something from start, I would start buying Evangelion DVDs.
hmm, buy a classic like akira or u can get trigun or cowboy bebop those are 3 fav's of about every anime fanatic out there.
I started my collection with miyazaki movies though.

I would of course get the whole Big O series along with Gundam Wing and Wolfs Rain(cuz they aren't that long)But movie wise I would buy the bebop movie the special edition Ninja Scroll and X. actually I'd get 2 copies of Ninja Scroll because I would watch it so much the DVD would get wrecked. As for the rest of the Money I would get to work on my own Anime which is already written down in full I just need the currency to get it rolling and a devoted team of artists who have all fallen in love with the story (which is not that hard to do). One of my freinds actually threatened to kill me cuz I wouldn't let him read it anymore.
Buying a lot of anime DVD's and watch them endless, but a bunch of manga isn't that bad either.
Escaflowne, Captain Tylor, Kare Kano, and Crest/Banner of the Stars (that SHOULD be able to get all of them). These aren't my favorite series, but I own all the other series I wanted already and these are the only things left on the list. If I had any money left over, I'd get what FMA stuff is out.
Assuming I didn't already have them, I'd grab all of Gundam SEED and Evangelion Platinum.
