Thread: Whats the best samurai series ever

Definitely Samurai 7 for me. Great battles, great characters, great plot, great storyline, amazing graphics - everything I can look forward to an anime action series. Entertaining, attention grabbing and at times humorous, it's one of the best animes I've watched and the best samurai series I've seen so far.

If I'm not mistaken, Samurai 7 is a mere adaptation of the classic anime movie by Akira Kurosawa, 7 Samurai, I think.

Samurai 7 is a Sci-Fi remake of the 1954 Seven Samurai movie by Akira Kurosawa. IMO, the orginal movie was way better, then the Sci-Fi remake.

the best samurai anime serie is Samarai X!!!! Samurai Champloo is the second best Samurai anime serie!!!

For me it would have to be samurai Champloo since it is really cool and it has a hip hop feel it and the action is great

I like Samurai Champloo and Samurai X!

Well have there really been that many popular ones to have this kind of discussion about? I only know a few myself that have just been extremely popular. I guess those who are more hardcore fans of anime probably know more, but as of now of the few I know Kenshin is still the best and most detailed, although Samurai Champloo and Ninja Scroll (I consider Jubei a samurai) are close runners up.
