when are you too old to watch anime?

i was just curiose. i just turned 17 4 days ago and got some anime stuff for my b-day. and my mom asked me when i was going to grow out of this "anime phase". i've been watching anime since i was a little kid watching hello kitty, then when i was a little older wathing sailor moon, and now i watch a veriety of show's. and i don't really want to grow out of it any time soon. it's not as if my anime obsession afects my social life, so why do so many people think of anime fandom as this wierd phase i should try to grow out of. and i ask how old is too old to watch anime.

i have four sisters who tell me i'm too old so i'm a lil touchy on the subject :lurk:

never my wonderful hinata, never. Anime is not a phase one can grow out of, its a wonderful thing that even my 26 yr old brother watches. If you love it then watch on

ya there is no age. some ppl just grow out of it after time but not all . if u like it the wach it

your never too old to wath anime if you like it then you should watch it its like being to old for ice cream its just not possible

and still watching anime - and more so nowadays
due to pulp created else where...

sports programs - again nope
self help programs - nope
gardening programs - nope
home makeover programs - you guesed it nope i just dont like them
shall i go on

i like epic stories - with all the effects - which dont attempt to explain what has just occured in the last scene 3 times (e.g. anything american)

sorry but my one remaing brain cell - requires doses of world cinema and good anime

so i really wouldn't worry about an age limit

Some people might grow out of it, and some might not. But some anime is not for children because of the swearing or violence. So anime is for all ages. That's my guess.

never too old. my dads like 40 somthing and likes Naruto...
