I liked the original .hack, because it's much like the MMORPG i play(Everquest) the animation is pretty good, story line is great, and Mimiru is hot :D

I like .hack, although I'm not sure what series I like better. I used to like Tsukasa too, up until I found out a certain something....

I like .hack and i do prefer Hack Dusk, it's awesome. You feel like you are in a real RPG game... ^_^
