From the context of what you quoted and what you just said, I am guessing you are referring to Aerith and not Tifa? If such is the case, then yes, I am indeed aware that the Aerith is dead and the scenes are most likely flashbacks and memories. That's why I said "(what we see of her anyway)". I'm just happy we'll get to see at least a little bit of her.
