We are forced to go to church to learn more on religious thingy. I myself has that problem too. But I don't mind it at all because it's for my own good. And besides when I grow up and get married, it will be my turn to force my children to go to church. >_<

A huge part of parenting is giving your child a good moral foundation upon which to base their life decisions. Many parents -myself included- feel that regular church attendence helps to reinforce the morals that they are trying to instill in their kids.

Besides, you're not bitching because you have to go to church, you're bitching because you have to wake up before noon on Sunday.

My parents use to until I turned 18 then I could do whatever, but they do it to instill moral and religious values obviously. They want their kids to grow up thinking the right way. You should feel lucky that your parents care enough about you to make you do something like that because some parents could give a sh*t less what their kids do. Its only 1-2 hours out of your life once a week I was told and they were right. I still dont know why I hated goign to church, maybe it was because it was forced on me and I hated things being forced on me, but now only 4 short years later I gladly go with my parents whenever I'm home.

My parents didn't force me go to Church (they didn't like getting up early on Sundays either), but Church might've been useful. Aside from moral instilling (which I don't need. I'm a self-righteous asshole as it is), it's a great socialization technique. Let's you encounter new people and get used to dealing with new people.

my parents don't make me, but if they did i would make a scene and have myself thrown out, but here's a funny concept for you.

my freind gets dragged to church, so in defiance he during one session jumped up and declared that he was "a faithful servant of satan and a raper of christ" when he told me about this ( and i had the story confirmed by the boys parents) i told him something that made him sad. as a satanist he beleives in heaven, hell and most inportantly christ therfore, even though not a traditional follower of the religion, he is technically a christian.

actually it's a good experience but why are we willing to go. I just don't like going every sunday cause you hear the same thing over and over again it's more of a routine for me i count down the minutes till its over. in my opion when i grow up i'm going to worship at home cause that is my own temple. i will still have the faith.
