The only UMD I would consider is Advent Children, but like you said, It's just a movie, unlike the DVDs which usually at the same prices has extras abd what nots. Sony needs to get rid of the bundle and sell the machine by it self imo.
House of the Flying Daggers will be out on regular DVD and UMD soon. Will anyone here buy it?I won't not untill the price comes down significantly. My Spiderman 2 UMD didn't even have extras so I'm not paying $20+ for a movie that has no extras and can only be played on a specialised machine.
If Sony wants this format to catch on they need to drop the price, like I said before, significantly![]()
What is this "outside" of which you speak?
I agree. But even if Advent Children turns out to be the greatest movie ever made; would that still justify the $20 + price of the UMD;especially since the regular DVD will probably be available for less.I'm baffeled.
What is Sony thinking?
Any one else care to weigh in on the matter?

only when they get cheaper, Which Amazon does have most of the ones out now for like 13 bucks (not house of flying daggers however) if they can make them all around 10-13 bucks then I'd probably buy more. Just the ones I really would want while I'm traveling though

O.k. that makes sense.

they need to really lower the price but in a way its worth getting the movie because if u wanna wach a movie and your not at home to wach it you can just pop it out and wach but i waould only spend that much mony on a movie thats worth buying
Do to others as you see fit

There is an advantage to carry your PSP everywhere and watch the movie anywhere you like. Although the price is a little bit high, i would buy only one particular movie because of that and that would be Advent Children.
